Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2017-12-06 14:27:37 UTC
I was reviewing reverse deps of all gnome-common-python bindings and I saw that this package relies on many of them.

I have seen only a live ebuild is provided... and upstream looks to have stopped developing that one for 3 years at least. Maybe we could finally treeclean this :/

Comment 1 Nicolas Bock gentoo-dev 2017-12-06 22:12:41 UTC
Yes, I agree. The project seems to have moved on.
Comment 2 Nicolas Bock gentoo-dev 2017-12-06 22:46:21 UTC
I have masked the package and sent a last rites email [1].

OK, thanks :)

Just curious: Anyone aware of an alternative (for use with xfce)?

Removed from the tree

Created attachment 833889 [details]

It's now at gtk3 via pygobject introspection, just as gtg.
Imho, enough good to reinstate.
