In preparation
All arches, please stabilize sys-devel/gcc-6.4.0
stable for amd64
x86 stable
ppc/ppc64 stable
ia64 stable
Any reason the remaining stabilizations needed for clean compiling with gcc6 didn't have depends markup here? Arch teams appear to ignore older STABLEREQs and jump straight to gcc6 stabling, breaking stable users.

We need to stop waiting and start doing at some point, and I sincerely hope that a change from "needs stabilization" to "stable doesn't build" increases perceived urgency. It's not as if I haven't pinged and reminded regularly on these bugs. As for wxGTK, please look up "Extrawurst" on Wikipedia...
Yes, I meant doing by having the needed stabilizations carried over here as depends, and pointing at people doing the stuff to clear the deplist stabilization up before marking gcc itself. I didn't mean to wait for some missing fixes that aren't just waiting for a revbump stabilization. Anyhow, looks mostly good by now at least anyways.
sparc stable (thanks to Rolf Eike Beer)
