I don't understand. dev-tex/pythontex-0.16.ebuild: DEPEND="${PYTHON_DEPS} >=dev-texlive/texlive-latexextra-2016 dev-tex/pgf" dev-tex/pgf-3.0.1-r1.ebuild: RDEPEND="dev-texlive/texlive-latexrecommended >=dev-tex/xcolor-2.11" How can it happen that xcolor is absent??

It seems that your failed built of pythontex took place before my commit commit 959ae26c53cb399ab135afd306bfcb7165b01368 Author: Andrey Grozin <grozin@gentoo.org> Date: Tue Oct 31 17:09:11 2017 +0700 dev-tex/pythontex: dependencies fixed Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/635594 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.11, Repoman-2.3.3 which, in particular, added the DEPEND on dev-tex/pgf. If you re-sync and try again, you'll find that it has been already fixed.
