Well, the bootstrap stuff isn't the LiveCD responsibility. Our watch ends when your machine is booted, unless there is an error with the CD itself. As it stands, I just happen to know about this problem. It is now fixed. Try to emerge sync and try again. REOPEN if this is still a problem and I will send it on to the reponsible parties... =]
