Hi,

People at the forum directed me here for new ebuild requests. I was wondering whether it would be possible to include an ebuild for derby (http://incubator.apache.org/derby) in gentoo.

Derby is an embedded low-footprint java database engine, the open-sourced IBM Cloudscape database.

Reproducible: Always

Here's an ebuild I have thrown together in a hurry. It's binary only, but at
least it's a start :)

We won't be adding any more bin packages when the source is available

We won't be adding more -bin packages if we can help it.
