This patch for openoffice-bin-1.1.2.ebuild adds $LINGUAS variable
support. $LINGUAS contais "pl" Polish localized openoffice from ux.pl
is installed. It should be easy to add support for other languages
based on this patch.

please tell me what do you think about it.
this modification is quite important for polish users
and I think similar modifications can be made for other
localized binary packages.

I have ported the patch to version 1.1.3 but
we will have to wait for ux.pl to publish new
localized binary.

patch fixed for new ebuild in portage tree.

This won't happen for OOo 1.1.x, I've tried, but atm there is no easy solution. But: The future looks brighter. openoffice-bin-1.9.91-r1 (which I just put in portage) is the first version to utilize language packs, unfortunately there is no polish language pack atm. Closing with LATER, please reopen if a polish language pack for OOo 2.0-pre exists

Move deprecated ebuild still being marked as LATER to Fixed.
