For anyone interested in working around this problem, until it is fixed: Creating a custom repository and adding the following line to the current ebuild (after line 22) sovles this problem: S="${WORKDIR}/intel-vaapi-driver-${PV}" (This is in the 'else' block of the 'if' statement.)
