It would also make sense IMHO to stabilize this new version after a relatively short time. gentoo-sources-4.9.34 was already stabilized a few days ago.
Aside from Stack-Clash is there any other reason for this?
i'm maintaining an incremental patch with upstream fixes that applies on top of latest sys-kernel/hardened-sources-4.9.24 if somebody is interested... please see this post: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8095734.html#8095734
i think problem may be availability of grsec patches. this is good looking community unnoficcal grsec git repo: https://github.com/minipli/linux-unofficial_grsec/ maybe hardened-sources ebuilds should also use these patches
its over guys. i cannot guarantee that your patches are of the quality we used to push out.
(In reply to Anthony Basile from comment #4) > its over guys. i cannot guarantee that your patches are of the quality we > used to push out. So is this officially then the end of the hardended sources and/or the Gentoo Hardened Project in general?
