Description Jeremy Strange 2004-08-29 09:44:23 UTC
I'm trying to emerge x11-libs/gtk+-1.2.10-r11 and it did not recognize x11-base/apple-xfree4.3 even though the bootstrap injected it. I injected sys-darwin/apple-xfree-4.3 as it was asking for and it started working. So it seems that maybe the bootstrap needs to be changed or the gtk ebuild does.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to gtk+ ebuild directory
2. Try to emerge gtk+-1.2.10-r11
Actual Results:
Jeremy-Stranges-Computer:/usr/portage/x11-libs/gtk+ jstrange$ emerge -f gtk+-1.2.10-r11.ebuild
Calculating dependencies \
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "sys-darwin/apple-xfree".

Expected Results:
Recognized that x11-base/apple-xfree is injected.

Could you reinstall using the latest installer. We switched from --inject based bootstrap to package.provided, which is much faster.
