I installed =dev-qt/qtmultimedia-5.8.0 with the pulseaudio & alsa USE flags disabled, but I see that the plugins were installed anyway and qtwebengine is playing audio through pulse, which I don't want. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set ">=dev-qt/qtmultimedia-5.8.0 -pulseaudio" in package.use 2. Emerge qtmultimedia-5.8.0 -- double check to make sure pulseaudio & alsa USE flags are disabled 3. Wait for it to install 4. When it's finished, play sound in qtwebengine and notice it's playing through pulseaudio still... weird. 5. run `equery f =qtmultimedia-5.8.0 | grep -i pulse` 6. UPDATE: I tried removing those files temporarily from their location, but that did not solve the problem. Audio is still being played through pulseaudio. I don't know what I'm missing here. I installed gstreamer without alsa and pulseaudio sinks-- gst-play defaults to JACK audio, so I'm 96% sure it's not due to gstreamer.
As per the package.mask message everything is broken right now.
