Bug 61352 – Kopete-0.9.0 crashes when receiving a complex rtf/utf message via icq

When receiving a message sent via windows-icq, or other clients which support rich-text-formatting via icq, kopete crashes upon receiving the message.

I have created a patch which sould fix the problem (has not yet been approved by the kopete people). Looking at the solution, I suspect that other arches could have the same problem, even 32bit ones.

patch accepted upstream. Will be in KDE 3.3.1

Please consider putting the patch on kde-3.3.0 - it renders kopete basically unusable if you don't use that patch
