This patch from debian is used to add wxpython3 support, could it be added please? Thanks https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/users/bottoms/pkg-gnuradio.git/tree/debian/patches/wxpy3.0-compat
What is the upstream status of this patch?
I don't know, I cannot find their bug tracker opened :/ Anyway, reading the patch comments, I am unsure if maybe it's only preventing some warnings and it's already "working"... looking to some commits it looks it could already be compatible even without patching: http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/repository/revisions/80ee28e1490fa1aa7cac6e21506c2890ead9affd http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/repository/revisions/3f4cec961c359ca51b46bd9a5b15d5bfd43c7673
For the upcoming 3.8 series gr-wxgui will be removed and the patch was never pulled into upstream for the 3.7 series.
should we then simply disable the GUI?

This affects gr-fosphor negatively.
