Hi, Any news? Last issue with suspected gnutls-3.5. Thanks!
(In reply to Alon Bar-Lev from comment #4) > Hi, > Any news? > Last issue with suspected gnutls-3.5. > Thanks! Anything?
Does it still fail with glib-networking-2.50.0? Has this been reported upstream if still relevant on latest release (potentially not packaged in Gentoo), as requested in comment #3? It it perhaps fixed in a newer version than 2.50.0?
Hi @gnome, I would like to push gnutls-3.5 into stable. If that is a test only issue, please patch out this test. If that is a generic issue, please add sslv3 USE dependency. Thanks!

For some reason I cannot see bugzilla send notifications... trying again.
Hi, In lack of response I will add sslv3 USE dependency in few days. Thanks, Alon
The lack of response is from you about comment #6, not us. Please look into that, and most definitely you may NOT touch a core gnome package like glib without authorization and review. I am not in a position to go install gnutls-3.5 for this, while you already should have it and easy to recheck.
also this is just a test failure. I don't think it should block you unmasking gnutls-3.5, if the functionality itself doesn't break, just tests because they ask for SSLv3 explicitly.
(In reply to Mart Raudsepp from comment #10) > The lack of response is from you about comment #6, not us. Do you mean I should install gnome and test something I do not actually use/understand? How does it make sense? (In reply to Mart Raudsepp from comment #11) > also this is just a test failure. I don't think it should block you > unmasking gnutls-3.5, if the functionality itself doesn't break, just tests > because they ask for SSLv3 explicitly. OK, continuing with stabilization, if I had been you I would have patch this test out, otherwise we will get lots of dups.
oh, you are stabilizing. Yeah, it's fine, just go ahead, I'll follow-up with this once I get around to actually upgrading gnutls from 4.4 to 4.5 and get to looking through glib-networking updates for gnome 3.24. The main point was in comment #3 - it needs to get properly reported upstream if no-one else has already. We don't want to just locally patch things forever.

How does it make sense? It's a test failure you could have tested if still happens by simply installing this. It's only dependencies are basically glib and gnutls.. but nevermind, I checked through changes from 2.48 to 2.50 already, and no relevant fixes there.
