Please allow some time for the developers to make the bump themselves, it will be a bigger fun for them :)

I've worked on this bug, but with the lack of a proper build system, it's pretty hard to get a good ebuild for couchdb-2.0 going. I'm pretty disappointed with upstream for removing the build system, and as I have no urgent need to upgrade to 2.0, I probably won't be able to work on this in the near future.

However, I would of course be happy to review and commit other's work in this direction.

ebuild for couchdb 2.1.0

Hi,

I've attached a working ebuild for couchdb 2.1.0.

I'm not an expert with ebuilds, but this one is working and you can use it.

The build system sucks, but at least parallel compilation is working.

Hello Dirkjan,

there is also an ebuild in the mschiff overlay. It seems to work for me since 5 months.
