There is a new version of kdenlive: 16.08.1 from 8th September 2016 https://kdenlive.org/2016/09/kdenlive-16-08-1-released/ 16.08.0 from 18th August 2016 https://kdenlive.org/2016/08/kdenlive-16-08-0-is-here/ last available in portage is 16.04.03
16.08.1 is in kde overlay, with a good chance of entering portage.
16.08.1 has been bumped now.
Hi, Is it possible to have 16.08.1 version back, as it was removed from portage for 16.08.2, but this one have quite major bug (project from previous version are rendered as 720p instead of 1080p) so is useless for those who use Full HD projects. The only option back (instead of buggy 16.08.2) is 16.04 for the moment.
I forgot to add, 16.04 doesn't read 16.08.1 version projects :(
Sure, 16.08.1 is restored for now. Could you please report your issue upstream also, as keeping .1 is only a temporary matter? Feel free to CC me on that report so I can track it too.
