I am running the most recently released Gentoo kernel (4.7.2).  When trying to emerge app-emulation/docker-1.11.0 I get the following error message:

 *   CONFIG_DEVPTS_MULTIPLE_INSTANCES:   is not set when it should be.
 *   CONFIG_IP_NF_TARGET_MASQUERADE:     is not set when it should be.
 *   CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM: is optional
 *   CONFIG_CGROUP_HUGETLB:      is not set when it should be.
 *   CONFIG_NET_CLS_CGROUP:      is not set when it should be.

I am unable to set those variables using make menuconfig.  I have also tried manually adding those variables to /usr/src/linux/.config with no success.  

Since I haven't seen anyone else raising this issue, I suspect I'm missing something incredibly obvious.
