Description Diogo Pereira 2016-07-23 20:21:55 UTC
Please stabilize.
Comment 1 Fat-Zer 2016-08-05 22:37:15 UTC
Good day, please hold it yet... There are a couple of upcoming patches that will require a revbump which will be intended to stabilize:
 - a patch for fixing desktop files QA check https://github.com/clementine-player/Clementine/pull/5444/commits/7060268ba0eb37f9d50e97f86f7ee44763e8b794 (already accepted by upstream; finally fix bug #460412)
 - a patch for fix compilation with clang (an upstream pending PR: https://github.com/clementine-player/Clementine/pull/5443; should resolve 560796)

The first patch will definitely require a revbump... so I'd like to postpone the stabilization a bit at least till the resolution of the first one, and the second one if there are no votes against to wait for the resolution of it... Note, that the second one will require some heavy testing.
Comment 2 Diogo Pereira 2016-08-05 22:55:26 UTC
AFAICT neither of those two bugs are regressions, so I see no point in delaying stabilization because of them.
Comment 3 Fat-Zer 2016-09-13 18:42:13 UTC
Resolution of #560796 is postponed due to upstream doesn't want to apply the patch, and I don't really want to add it just to the tree. And even if it was resolved it shouldn't go straight to the stable, so removing the patch from dependencies.

Sorry it took so a while to upload the patch for 460412;

Please go ahead with stabilization.

You forgot to add arches, but anyway this has at least two unstable dependencies:

media-libs/libechonest:=[qt4]
>=media-libs/libmygpo-qt-1.0.8
