Description Ole Langbehn 2016-07-13 05:48:38 UTC
When evince is built against gtk+-3.20.6, it core dumps on start. downgrading gtk+ and rebuilding evince resolves the problem.

Maybe #587800 is related (no crashes there, but broken window layout.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
$ evince fa.pdf
**
ERROR:ev-window.c:6789:ev_window_init: assertion failed (error == NULL): <data>:51:21'-gtk-key-bindings' is not a valid property name (gtk-css-provider-error-quark, 3)
Aborted (core dumped)

Do you have USE="debug" enabled for gtk+?
Comment 2 Ole Langbehn 2016-07-13 07:29:01 UTC
No, I don't have USE="debug" enabled for gtk+.

But I do have full debugging symbols on my box via CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -ggdb".
