This is masked for over 10 years already, and upstream haven't gotten a single release since. Considering that we no longer use CVS for Gentoo, can we unmask it or try to fix the issue at hand?

I'd love to last rite the whole damn thing but I guess we don't have a good replacement for accessing old repos, do we?

In any case, please at least wipe or let me wipe the redundant old revisions.

I've drop everything except cvs-1.12.12-r10.
Upstream development is ~dead.

We do still have old CVS repos that are probably going to remain as historical content, and have a very low demand for migration, plus poor users that use CVS on external work stuff still, so it can't completely go away.
