When enabling encryption in Synergy 1.7.5, libns.so complains that it cannot find libssl.so.10. This breaks the encryption functionality of Synergy and does not let other Synergy clients (Mac/Windows) to connect to it using encryption. A recompile does not fix this issue. Workaround (per https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/44768 ): cd /usr/lib sudo ln -s libssl.so.1.0.0 libssl.so.10 sudo ln -s libcrypto.so.1.0.0 libcrypto.so.10
I don't see how libns.so would be installed as bug #550692 hasn't been fixed yet. I guess you were working around that bug and then upgraded openssl.
