I don't know exactly what the deal is with this. There appears to be 4 jacks:

media-sound/jack
media-sound/jack2
media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit
media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit (unmasked to >v1.0)

The virtual/jack ebuild appears to use #2 and #3. Ardour just wants to use #3 (instead of using the virtual). Are these intentional?

This is done now in ardour 5.0 and 9999.
