I updated to Firefox 44.0 earlier this week and it immediately became almost unusable. Very slow response times, windows not redrawing properly, ... I think this might be related to the video driver for the following reasons: * I noticed no heavy CPU or memory usage * All my other applications ran fine * There were some errors on the CLI about missing some EGL symbols: Can't find symbol 'EGLImageTargetRenderbufferStorageOES' * I noticed that the egl use-flag has been removed I tried switching the compositor to EGL instead of GLX but that made no difference. I am using an ATI card and Plasma 5. I confirmed on a nearly identical nVidia based Plasma 5 system: absolutely no performance issues, also the EGL error message does not appear on the console.
