Description Samuel Lamotte d'Incamps 2002-07-29 04:12:56 UTC
Dear Loved Gentooists,

I am connected through a Cable TV network, with a Motorola Surfboard 4100 DOCSIS
Modem with its USB interface. I usually use a chrooted distro to install Gentoo
on my boxes, as far as there is no CDCEther.o module available with the gentoo
install iso.

If this module was available, I am sure that all the Docsis users will be very
happy.

Thankx

Is anyone keeping a tally of the requested kernel modules, etc for CD stuffs?
Comment 2 Daniel Robbins (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-22 00:33:48 UTC
I'll add this kernel to the CD on my next modules run. :)

Will be included in all experimental (and later) CDs built after 20021221. grab
them from http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/experimental/livecd/ (will be building a new
one tomorrow, on 20021223) Closing this bug, thanks for reporting it :)

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
