I've discovered this fact when trying to build x11-terms/rxvt-unicode, because that command is used inside its ./configure script and caused my build to fail.

This is a similar issue to one I reported a few days ago, but which concerns wxGTK - https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=568848
