Description Jordan Dawe 2004-07-10 23:24:21 UTC
Attached is the ferret-bin-5.70.ebuild, which installs the binary executables for the Ferret binary package. Ferret is a scientific analysis package for use with gridded geophysical datasets, and it should probably go in app-sci/. This package is meant to be installed along with ferret-env-5.70.ebuild (bug 56652) and ferret-data-5.70.ebuild (bug 56654).

An ebuild has been included in the science overlay.

Are the other posted ebuilds ferret, ferret-data and ferret-env still needed for the newer version?

No. Since they are required by ferret and not usable by themselves I included them in the ebuild that is now in the science overlay.
