All gdesklets stuff is completely dead for ages, they rely on old libs like bonobo, gconf, orbit... this will also help us to kill some ebuilds still using old python eclasses and old eapis and I doubt they are still widely used (I remember to use them long time ago and most of them were really slow :/)
