hi,
when i connect 2 xbox 360 wireless controllers (with the usb cable) at the same time: the whole system crash imediatly (freeze and even if i unplug the cable it's too late)
(tested 4 times)

i'm using the last available kernel:
Linux localhost 4.3.0-gentoo #1 SMP Wed Nov 11 13:05:13 2015 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Hi Sebastien, 
thank you for your report. Do you have further evidence that this problem arises from a bug in a gentoo ebuild? 
To me it sounds rather like a general bug in upstream source code and might happen on every distribution. 
Please give more information. You may find help on IRC and in the gentoo forum.

i guess it's a bug from the mainstream too: i m using the driver from the kernel directly

but i've done an other test: its not "exactly" when i connect 2 controllers, i just tried to change the order of pluging them and actualy i got 2 xbox one wireless controller BUT the second one make the crash, the other don't

the second controller (the crasher) has a little mini-jack port on it (to plug earphones)

so i guess because the device is not the same as the other can cause the crash, anyway even if i'm not in a game the crash occurs
