Version 3.9.5_p08 was released: http://support.reiner-sct.de/downloads/LINUX/V3.99.5_SP08/pcsc-cyberjack-3.99.5final.SP08.tar.bz2 The only change I needed to get it to merge, is - S=${WORKDIR}/${MY_P2} + S=${WORKDIR}/${MY_P} The three patch files in src_prepare can be re-used. I just renamed them here. New feature: The pinpad finally works partially. (It waits for pinpad input, detects the input (like an abort), but rejects the code. [Maybe because the broken previous version made the card itself reach the limit of tries?]) Reproducible: Always
Fixes pin problems (bug #519842) for me.
The PIN entry problem doesn’t happen with Hibiscus. So it seems to be a AQBanking problem. (Maybe due to the STARCOS card I’m using.) Ergo, as far as I can tell, this driver works as it should.
I had the problem on one machine when trying to sync my Gnucash account using AQBanking. On my other machine using the exact same cyberjack version the problem did not occur, wich is very strange. The other bug (#519842) actually describes the same problem on Hibiscus with this driver version. So I do not think it only affects Hibiscus and I think it is a problem with the driver, because exchanging it solved the issue for me.

Apparently REINER loves changing the files without changing the version number at all. So many mirrors unknowingly had the wrong version for a long time, and didn’t re-download it, because the version number hadn’t changed. Get the files straight from REINER, to be sure it’s actually up-to-date. (Which is why an actual version bump there solves so much.) > The other bug (#519842) actually describes the same problem on Hibiscus with > this driver version. Unless we are sure it’s *actually* the same version, we can’t tell… Stupid REINER. ^^
