I have installed the KDE 15.08.0 applications. Synchronizing the KDE overlay today and updating my packages, the system wanted to go back to kdeadmin-meta-15.04.3. Checking things, I see that the kdeadmin-meta-15.08.0 ebuild is missing. Can this ebuild be re-introduced? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. sync KDE overlay 2. emerge -uDavN world 3. Actual Results: emerge -uDavN world These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! However, it is also possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can not be installed simultaneously. You may want to try a larger value of the --backtrack option, such as --backtrack=30, in order to see if that will solve this conflict automatically. For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook. Expected Results: No re-introduction of 15.04.3 applications
It was removed from the overlay because it was moved to the main tree: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=957f3f548aa7910f61d9c50f6686e348f51bb96e
