eggdrop 1.6.16 was released. there is no ebuild for it yet. i tried renaming the ebuild and renaming the patches but since i am not sure what the patches contain - they might try to fix things which are already fixed in this new version - i thought it better to just report there is a new version and let the people who have previously created ebuilds and patches for eggdrop take care of it.

i tried this out and when i restarted the eggdrop i was running, i got the following error message:

oops:

running eggdrop instead of restarting the old into the new works.

i think something just went wrong while it tried to cope with the changes from the old to the new version.

restarting works fine too.

in short: no problems yet :)
