2.4.60 has a critical bug in nouveau which causes hangs all over. It'd be nice if this were just not (easily) selectable in gentoo, at least not if VIDEO_CARDS=nouveau is used. Seems like dropping the build is simplest, but other solutions would be fine too.

See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89842 for an example, I think a few other bugs were filed.
