Description Bodo Thiesen 2015-07-28 20:30:16 UTC
[blocks B      ] <dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.42.2 ("<dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.42.2" is blocking dev-libs/glib-2.42.2)

  (dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.38.2:0/0::gentoo, installed) pulled in by
    >=dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.38.2 required by (x11-libs/gtk+-3.14.13:3/3::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge)

  (dev-libs/glib-2.42.2:2/2::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    [very long list]

Just adding dev-util/gdbus-codegen to the emerge command resolved the "conflict". That's portage's job.

Regards, Bodo

what is the command line you gave to emerge in the first place?

This looks to be as similar to bug 543290
