Hello,

x11-misc/lightdm-gtk-greeter appears to need sys-devel/gettext to build, without it it dies in the configure phase.  I have attached a build.log but it's also easy to reproduce:

# emerge -C gettext
# emerge -1 lightdm-gtk-greeter
