net-dns/knot-2.0.0 was released on June 26. The 2.x series represent a significant change from 1.6.x, which will continue as a long-term stable series (see bug 553782 for a version bump to 1.6.4).

In particular, the configuration file format and the automatic DNSSEC handling are completely changed. The changes are significant enough that I haven't managed to port my DNSSEC configuration yet, so I am still running 1.6.x in production. Unsigned zones work without issue in 2.0.0, though.

Significant changes:
* Install bash-completion files for the new DNSSEC utility and depend on app-shells/bash-completion if USE="bash-completion".
* 2.0.0_beta-spell-enable-vars-correctly.patch applied upstream, drop locally.
