Using recent stable sys-apps/portage (2.2.18) after upgrading my production workstation I've woundered seeing the issue, similiar with reported in bug #542796 # emerge -1 app-officeext/ooofbtools … --- /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/extensions/OOoFBTools/fb2-flibusta-schema/ >>> /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/extensions/OOoFBTools/fb2-flibusta-schema/FictionBookGenres.xsd >>> /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/extensions/OOoFBTools/fb2-flibusta-schema/FictionBookLang.xsd >>> /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/extensions/OOoFBTools/fb2-flibusta-schema/FictionBook.xsd >>> /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/extensions/OOoFBTools/fb2-flibusta-schema/FictionBookLinks.xsd $: bad substitution $: bad substitution $: bad substitution >>> Safely unmerging already-installed instance... $: bad substitution $: bad substitution $: bad substitution No package files given... So, I expect some trouble or miss in eclasses (office-ext-r1?). Although in bug #547520 similiar issue was fixed in ebuild. Maybe notable I use per-package bashrc file to install non-standard example files. Created attachment 404248 [details] ooofbtools post_src_install() Attaching file with extra functions.
(In reply to Alex Xu (Hello71) from comment #1) > > Maybe notable I use per-package bashrc file to install non-standard example files. > > so maybe it would be a good idea to attach that. Just _may_. But _really_ it doesn't matter. Without this file emerge displays exactly the same warning list.
Common issue seems to be fixed in =sys-apps/portage-2.2.20.
