cupsd will freeze system if run as a startup script. When system if fully functional cupsd will still not load properly. It locks up, and never starts the server. Bug did not appear in the 2.6.5 gentoo-dev-sources. System is an all AMD chipset system. Irongate chipset, and DRI is disabled. AMD Athlon 800 Mhz.
