Description Ryan Earl 2004-06-22 17:40:27 UTC
I'm running into a MAJOR problem with Perl. If it were only refusing to install, that would be one thing, but it DOSes the box without user intervention. What happens is, it will compile Perl fine and dandy, but when it gets to the test portion of the build process, the "lib/Config" will exhaust all virtual RAM in the system into the OOM-Killer decides to get medieval.

I've tried everything I can to fix this problem, I've even upgraded to the new gcc-3.4 from gcc-3.3 and it didn't help.

Suggestions please?
