nginx-1.8.0 is released. So can we have a really stable version as stable in portage?
nginx-1.9.0 mainline version has been released, with the stream module for generic TCP proxying and load balancing.
@cyberbat: Yep, we will treat 1.8.x as stable from here on. More info in the overlay[1]. Also, we will wait a bit longer since ajp still seems to have issues[2]. [1]: https://github.com/gentoo/nginx-overlay [2]: https://github.com/yaoweibin/nginx_ajp_module/issues/37
*nginx-1.8.0 (25 Jun 2015) 25 Jun 2015; Manuel Rüger <mrueg@gentoo.org> +nginx-1.8.0.ebuild: Version bump. Temporarily disable the ajp module. Proxy commit for Johan Bergström. See bug #548186.

1.9.3 is in tree. We use two different slots now: mainline and 0 (latter will become stable after some time).
