Indeed I would like to, but I think that my (programming-) skills may not be sufficent to present a comprehensive ebuild and support. Therefore I'd continue building "irresponsible" (updated) ebuilds that people can use in their local portage until a much more advanced dev reviewed them.
Well, for maintaining an ebuild it's more about learning how to write ebuilds than "programming skills" :) But ok, thanks for feedback
