Upstream support for Ruby 1.9 ended, therefore we'd like to remove ruby1.9 soon. Your package depends on ruby:1.9, please use a recent ruby implementation and get this version stable, if the ruby:1.9 version had stable keywords. You may remove this package with the other things which don't support ruby 1.9, as well as net-wireless/airpwn which I believe is the only package that depends on this old version of lorcon.
Actually this would not affect airpwn since that depends on net-wireless/lorcon-old. Affected by masking of lorcon would be: - net-analyzer/metasploit (where this is a dependency based on the lorcon USE flag) - net-wireless/aircrack-ng (where this is a dependency based on the airdrop-ng USE flag) In both cases the USE flag could be removed. However, I noticed that net-wireless/lorcon-9999 has a ruby21 TARGET, so is this not just a matter of creating a new version based on current upstream?
aircrack-ng is not a problem as it does not depend on USE=ruby. The only package depending on lorcon[ruby] is metasploit. Please consider adding a snapshot with ruby20 and ruby21 support, otherwise we'll mask USE="ruby" in two weeks (and subsequently metasploit-{4.x,9999}).
