The handbook for x85 tell you to enable "/dev file system support (EXPERIMENTAL)". In 2.6 kernels, it says "/dev file system support (OBSOLETE)" If it is still to be selected (I think so), it should be mentioned specifically. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

This has nothing to do with udev. Tor is simply telling us that when the handbook tells users to select devfs, it displays the 2.4 label "/dev file system support (EXPERIMENTAL)" but a 2.6 kernel displays "/dev file system support (OBSOLETE)". This might confuse users and make them not select devfs.
