Currently emerging pocl on an empty system tried to emerge it before ocl-icd, making eselect opencl fail.
Actually the pre-merge check fails if no opencl implementation is already present, probably that check should be relaxed.
It currently fails on pre-merge checks if ocl-id is not the current implementation. Even if other implementations are present. If ocl-id is not present, pocl's pre-merge check for ocl-id as the current OpenCL provider fails as it is about to be brought in as a dependency of pocl.
Patrick, are you actually maintaining this?
So, the package abuses pkg_pretend() by making it require eselect-opencl and ocl-icd being installed. Which means people even can't start installing it without merging the dependencies manually first, and is a major QA violation. The maintainer doesn't reply to the bugs for half a year. As far as I'm concerned, this package is unmaintained and of terribly quality. Having no reverse dependencies, I think we should treeclean it.
