hidapi fails to emerge because of a missing "-lpthread".

The problem is known upstream [2] and a patch already exists [1].

0.8.0_rc1_p20140719 (with this fix) is now available in the bitcoin overlay.

this is now in the tree.  reopen if this is sitll a problem.
