 He needs to wait the 2 week period before he's processed.

I contributed several ebuilds over bugs.g.o and some don't have a maintainer nor herd yet and I would volunteer to maintain them, e.g.

app-misc/rl bug 31518
app-benchmarks/tiobench bug 32499

net-dns/mydns (non-existant maintainer, bug 53450) (not my ebuild)

And I have some more ebuilds waiting for their addition into portage. See http://gentoo.mirror.at.stealer.net/portage_overlay/ for my overlay.

And Chuck Short asked me if I want to join net net-irc herd.

I'm still alive, but I've been slacking for quite some time now, mainly due to time constraints. I'm mostly only fixing bugs that I come across personally, rather than focussing on reported bugs.

If you don't focus in reported bugs (there are more than 60 assigned to you), please leave some of your packages up for grabs to show real status, otherwise, people report a problem (even with solutions), don't get any reply, they get angry and the problem is unsolved for a long time until any other dev hits the problem and fixes it himself.

Looks like you finally dropped you from following metadatas:
app-admin/eselect-pinentry
app-crypt/pinentry
net-dns/avahi

But the following packages are still supposedly maintained by you but you pay no attention to them for a long time:
x11-misc/x11vnc
app-misc/dtach

Will drop you from their metadata and ask for new maintainers if you don't reply in a week against it

x11vnc should probably go to the maintainer of net-libs/libvncserver as they both share the same upstream and codebase.

Also looks like you are not touching any packages of herds you are currently member of, I would them drop you from them to reflect reality (that shows net-news herd is really inactive for some time)

Umm, I have seen you have done some commits recently after I sent you the mail. But you didn't even reply to that mail or here in this bug report :/

Would you mind to at least tell us what packages are you willing to maintain to allow us to send a mail asking for new maintainers (and do the reassignment work) for the rest)?
