Description Daniel Gulotta 2014-11-29 03:37:28 UTC
If switch to a TTY and then back to X while playing Hedgewars, then X becomes unresponsive. The screen still shows the TTY, but the cursor no longer blinks, and the system no longer responds to keyboard input.

The system still responds to ssh. If I kill X, then I can use the keyboard again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a game in Hedgewars
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to go to a TTY
3. Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to go back to X
Actual Results:
I get a blank screen and the system no longer responds to the keyboard.

I am running x11-base/xorg-server-1.15.0 and x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.99.916.

There was nothing relevant in dmesg.
Comment 2 Daniel Gulotta 2015-01-06 17:59:14 UTC
Upgrading to x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.99.917 seems to have fixed the problem.
