I don't know if it's related to glibc-2.20, but I can't build octave. It complains about a missing build-aux/snippet/c++defs.h, a file that *is* included in the source package but removed during the "Running libtoolize --copy --force --automake" build step (I keep doing ls in the directory in another terminal and it seems to disappear in that step). BTW, I managed to emerge octave successfully by copying back from another terminal the .h files that libtoolize removes (c++defs.h and other 3 or 4 headers) to their original location (build-aux/snippet/) just after emerge removes them. I don't know if the problem is with libtoolize (should not remove them) or a subsequent step that should regenerate them but doesn't.
Also, I have the *exact* same error in lftp. It includes a file build-aux/snippet/c++defs.h but it gets removed during "Running autopoint --force" or "Running libtoolize --copy --force --automake" (not sure). This causes: make[1]: *** No rule to make target '../build-aux/snippet/c++defs.h', needed by 'c++defs.h'.
