binutils-config-3-r03.1-build.log

Trying to bootstrap a new gentoo prefix in Yosemite but failed.

First looks like the the profile for OS X 10.10 doesn't exist.

!!! /Users/yegle/.gentoo/etc/portage/make.profile is not a symlink and will probably prevent most merges.
!!! It should point into a profile within /Users/yegle/.gentoo/usr/portage/profiles/
!!! (You can safely ignore this message when syncing. It's harmless.)

I fixed it by creating a 10.10 profile from 10.9 (with small modification to any 10.9 strings and x86_64-apple-darwin13 strings in the profile) and continue stage3 but failed in building binutils-config.

Error message of building binutils-config:
checking for Gentoo Portage EPREFIX... '/Users/yegle/.gentoo'
checking for Mac OS X minimum deployment target... configure: error: need an explicit Mac OS X version number with --with-macosx-version-min

use a newer snapshot, you'll get a whole lot further
