Description Beelzebubbie 2014-09-26 09:55:11 UTC
After usual world update I saw that some services stopped to work (postfix, lighttpd and others). Investigating this I found that /var/run symlink has been removed:

LOG: postrm
Directory symlink(s) may need protection:
        /var/run
Searching all installed packages for files installed via above symlink(s)...
The above directory symlink(s) are all safe to remove. Removing them now...

Grepping /etc for /var/run/ occurencies found tens of initscripts and configs that relies on this symlink, so I believe that this symlink *should* be protected.
