Current stable wgetpaste's default setup uses an outdated service.  This means out of the box, a simple "wgetpaste my.log" doesn't work, this is pretty annoying when helping brand new users pastebin logs.

Not sure where this lands WRT the 30 days guideline, 2.25 has been around a while but there have been minor revisions to deal with the 3rd party service changes.  In any case, the sooner we can get a working version stable, the better.

Can we please push this along?

It is difficult for users with the stable's default choice being broken.

In addition, how about defaulting to "gists"? GitHub is a professionally administered service and it seems to me that it would be less likely to change its interface or disappear.
