Emerge -p depclean wants to remove modutils, attr and acl. Well I did it and borked my system. I guess they are core packages so they shouldn't appear in emerge depclean. I read the warning of depclean and learnt the lesson, of course, but it would be better if this was fixed. One more thing: I emerged tuxracer emerge tuxracer [ebuild N ] dev-lang/tcl-8.3.4 [ebuild N ] dev-lang/tk-8.3.4-r1 [ebuild N ] media-libs/smpeg-0.4.4-r4 [ebuild N ] media-libs/sdl-mixer-1.2.5-r1 [ebuild N ] games-arcade/tuxracer-0.61-r3 but it didn't work and so removed it: emerge -C tuxracer then I tried emerge -p depclean, but the output showed only [ebuild N ] media-libs/smpeg-0.4.4-r4 [ebuild N ] media-libs/sdl-mixer-1.2.5-r1 no trace of the other 2 dependencies. I was pretty sure they that tk and tcl weren't needed anymore and removed them.
